Sashimi Stickers Privacy Policy

Sashimi Stickers is a personal iPhone sticker and collage app from an independent solo developer. This policy explains what the app stores, what it does not collect, and how Photos access, Messages stickers, widgets, support contact, the website, and future updates are handled.
Overview
Sashimi Stickers is designed to keep your stickers and collages on your device. The app does not require an account and does not upload your photos, stickers, sticker packs, or collage documents to a Sashimi Stickers server.
The app does not show ads, does not track you across apps or websites, and does not sell or share your app data. Your sticker and collage content remains local to your device unless you choose to save, send, export, share, back up, or move it using iOS, Messages, Photos, iCloud backups, or other tools.
Data Stored Locally
Sashimi Stickers stores app data locally on your device so the app can restore your sticker library, custom packs, collages, widget previews, and settings when you open the app again.
Local app data can include:
- Sticker images created from photos or chosen from stock sticker assets.
- Sticker names, sticker type, creation dates, and custom pack membership.
- Collage documents, canvas format, layout, emoji, stock stickers, background choices, and saved collage artwork.
- Widget preview images and widget-related selections used by the Sashimi widget extension.
- Message-compatible sticker files used by the Messages extension.
Some local data may be stored in an app group container so the main app, Messages extension, and widget extension can access the stickers or collages needed for those features.
Photos Access
Sashimi Stickers uses Apple's photo picker so you can choose images from your photo library to turn into sticker cutouts. The app receives the images you select for sticker creation. It does not receive your entire photo library.
When you choose to save a sticker or collage to Photos, Sashimi Stickers requests add-only Photos permission. This permission is used to write the finished PNG artwork to your photo library. It is not used to browse your photo library.
Messages Extension
Sashimi Stickers includes a Messages extension so compatible saved stickers can appear in the Messages app. The extension reads locally saved sticker files from the app's shared storage and presents them as stickers.
Sashimi Stickers does not receive the content of your conversations. Sending a sticker in Messages is handled by Apple's Messages app and the people or services involved in that conversation.
Widgets
Sashimi Stickers includes Home Screen widgets that can display saved collage artwork. Widget previews and selected collage information are stored locally so the widget extension can refresh and show the artwork you choose.
Widget data is not uploaded to a Sashimi Stickers server.
Data Not Collected by the App
The Sashimi Stickers app does not collect or transmit:
- Your original photos or imported images.
- Your created sticker images, sticker packs, or collage documents.
- Your Messages conversations.
- Your name, email address, or contact information through the app.
- Usage analytics, telemetry, or behavioral analytics.
- Advertising identifiers or tracking data.
- Location data.
- Device identifiers for analytics or tracking.
Network Communication
Sashimi Stickers does not use a Sashimi Stickers server to store or process your stickers, photos, or collages. The app does not include third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
If you tap an App Store, support, privacy, website, or email link from the app or website, iOS, your browser, or your email client may open the relevant page or mail composer. Those user-initiated actions are separate from local sticker and collage storage.
Backups and Data Loss
Sashimi Stickers is not a backup service. Because stickers and collages are stored locally, I cannot recover stickers, packs, collages, or widget artwork that are deleted in the app, removed from your device, lost because of device failure, or otherwise unavailable from your local storage.
If you use iCloud backup, device migration, device restore, or third-party backup tools, those tools may separately copy local Sashimi Stickers app data according to their own behavior and settings.
Website
The Sashimi Stickers website is available at sashimi-stickers.madeuseful.app. Website hosting, performance, and security providers may process standard web request data, such as IP address, browser information, request URLs, and security logs, to provide the website.
Website data is separate from local Sashimi Stickers app data and does not give me access to the stickers, photos, collages, or widget artwork stored on your device.
The website does not use advertising trackers, third-party marketing trackers, or newsletter signup systems.
Third-Party Services
Sashimi Stickers uses Apple for App Store distribution, Photos access, Messages, widgets, and device-level app behavior. Apple handles App Store downloads, updates, purchases if any are added in the future, and related App Store account activity.
The Sashimi Stickers website may use hosting and security providers to serve the website. These providers do not receive your local app content from Sashimi Stickers.
Support Email
If you contact support by email, I receive your email address and any information you choose to include in the message. I use that information to read, respond to, and manage your support request.
Do not send private photos, sticker content, passwords, financial information, regulated data, or other sensitive information unless you choose to do so.
Children's Privacy
Sashimi Stickers is a general creative app and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not include accounts, app analytics, ads, tracking, or cloud sync.
Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding personal information under applicable privacy laws.
Because Sashimi Stickers does not maintain user accounts or store sticker and collage content on remote servers, requests related to sticker or collage access, correction, export, or deletion may be limited to data stored locally on your device.
Changes to This Policy
Sashimi Stickers may receive future updates. If a future version changes how data is handled, such as by adding optional sync, accounts, app analytics, crash reporting, subscriptions, or other network-connected services, this privacy policy and the App Store privacy information will be updated to describe those changes.
